Diamond Multimedia 300Mbps 802.11n Wireless Range Extender (WR300N)

Diamond Multimedia 300Mbps 802.11n Wireless Range Extender (WR300N)
Our house is pretty long, and it just so happens that my bedroom is located on the extreme opposite end of where our wireless internet is set up. I've always had to come to the middle of the house to get internet signal on my laptop, and for years I never realized it could be fixed with a simple $60 gadget (that really was super simple to set up). One thing about the instructions is that it says to turn off your wifi and plug an ethernet cable into the repeater, but I personally thought it was much easier to just use the wireless and manually select the repeater's wifi identity (and remember that the password it will ask for is located on the back of the repeater). I'm actually writing this review from my bedroom and I just finished watching a streaming episode of TV on Hulu...AND my new Google TV in my room is able to connect to the internet now too. Highly recommend.

The Diamond Multimedia Wireless Range Extender was the easiest item to set up I've ever encountered. It took no more than five minutes, and it has been working perfectly. I note that at least two reviewers who encountered problems with the device thought that it might be incompatible with the Verizon FIOS service. I have FIOS, and I had no problem with the Diamond.
